The program will open with a keynote address from Mark Collette, Managing Director of EnergyAustralia, setting the scene for a timely conversation on data centre growth and its implications for the energy system. Guests will then hear from a cross-industry panel featuring Laura Caspari, CEO and Managing Director, Renewables and Batteries, ENGIE, and Elizabeth Molyneux, Deputy Secretary, Energy, Department of Energy, Environment and Climate Action (DEECA), with further panellists to be announced in the coming weeks.
The discussion will examine the practical questions facing the sector, including who pays, who builds, and how flexible large load can help support the grid as new demand comes online.
